Relax your way to Catalina Island -
for a funfilled weekend!
Includes hotel, luncheon, transportation and Island tour!
Saturday, November 7-Sunday, November 8, 2009
Catalina Island is only 26 miles off the coast of Southern California, but you’ll feel a world away as you gaze into the bright blue Pacific from the quaint seaside town of Avalon. Leave your busy shedules behind and join us for a weekend excursion to Santa Catalina Island! We will provide transportation to Dana Point Harbor where we will hop on board the Catalina Express for our hour-and-twentyminute ferry ride to the docks of Avalon. After check-in and a host lunch, we will tour the interior of the Island; catching spectacularviews of the harbor from the high vantage points. We may even catch a glimpse of the famous wild Catalina buffalo! After the tour you’ll be familiar with the lay of the land and for the remainder of the weekend you will be on your own to explore the many other charms of Avalon—stroll along the boardwalk, enjoy tasty treats, and do a little shopping. Or, perhaps read a book on the beach, rent a kayak, or take a cruise on a glass bottom boat.
Avalon has a variety of restaurants and cafes to suit many tastes and a variety of other activities. So don’t miss the boat! Escape with us for a weekend of fun and relaxation in the fresh ocean air of Santa Catalina Island!
