All levels are welcome.
The art of fashion draping is the manipulation of fabric on three dimensional form by a designer to obtain perfect fit and harmony between the  fabric, design of the garment, and the silhouette of the model. The draping method allows for more inspiration and indicates the flow and performance of the fabric. The designer will easily see the proportion, balance, and style lines of a design as it will look on the body or dress form, and allow for corrections as needed. This class will teach techniques of fabric draping, pattern drafting, cutting and sewing. The instructor will do demonstrations from 9:30 AM–12:30 PM, followed by a short lunch break, then hands-on lab until 2:30 PM.
