Learning Spanish is fun when you’re reading an entertaining story! That’s just what you’ll do in this class, which is like a book club where you learn and improve your Spanish. We’ll read the short Spanish book (geared specifically for Spanish learners), “Frida Kahlo,” about the life of one of Mexico’s greatest artists. An icon of strength, this brief biography provides a glimpse into her turbulent life and symbolic art. The story will be a springboard to hearing, reading and practicing Spanish. This is a very enjoyable and rewarding way to approach learning the  language. You’ll be pleased at the improvement you see in your comprehension! Appropriate for and open to advanced-beginners with at least some basic Spanish, and intermediate students.
