This course provides an opportunity for individuals to improve overall health and fitness through participation in enjoyable physical activity. The course includes a low-impact aerobic exercise warm-up, weight training, core body strengthening and stretching exercises all set to upbeat music. Emphasis is on safety, proper body alignment, appropriate exercise intensity, and control of movement. The exercises may be performed in a standing position or while seated. The course is designed to address the specific needs of the senior population.
