Join other first-timers (and those who return again and again) to explore the world of t’ai chi, the ancient Chinese martial art long valued as a healing, meditative and defensive practice. Following yin/yang principles (the foundation of traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture) promotes harmony, relaxation and balance. T’ai chi exercises condition your whole body and improve your mood, posture, concentration, coordination, circulation, strength and flexibility, while reducing stress and increasing your energy. The steps and movements (“five elements,” “five animals,” and basic qigong) are easily learned by everyone.
