Intro to the Internet of Things (IOT)-Remote Monitoring for Equipment and Facilities

ID : 53914
« back to classes page
In this 15-hour course, students will learn to:
• Develop a complete loT monitoring application using “Drag n Drop” graphical IDE
• Program Arduino sensor modules to monitor machine vibration
• Store sensor data in a password protected online database
• Access/display data from remote sensors in an online “Dashboard”

Facility management and security are two major focus areas for companies deploying loT technology. The ability to monitor and maintain equipment located at remote sites without traveling to perform maintenance, as well as the capability to monitor and manage physical facilities using internet technology, speaks to loT’s vast appeal.—2018 Report from ZDNet and TechRepublic
