MiraCosta College Community Education and Workforce Development is with The Scuba Center make available a GI Bill ® funded Professional Scuba Diving Instructor Program. We have created a 489-hour course that prepares students for Professional Association of Diving Instructor (PADI) membership and certification. The program includes the following courses: Open Water Advanced Open Water Emergency First Response Rescue Diver Dive Master Assistant Instructor Emergency First Response Instructor Cylinder Inspector & Technician HAS Instructor Open Water SCUBA Instructor & MSDT Prep This program is self-paced. To receive certificates, students must complete all classes and dives. Start Dates: Ongoing Program Cost: $14,515 Additional fees for PADI application, membership and certification will be required. These fees are the responsibility of the student and will be paid directly to PADI or the certifying agency.
